Six matches · Three groups · One Canadian decider · Decimal odds with timestamps · Wagering examples in CAD

The first decisive day of Matchday 3 lines up with Canada’s Group B finale at BC Place. Groups A, B and C all play their final group fixtures today, finishing the picture in three of the twelve groups by the end of the evening. The six matches below run from a 3:00 PM ET double-header in Vancouver and Seattle through to a 9:00 PM ET double-header at the Estadio Azteca and the Estadio BBVA in Mexico.

A picks-and-odds board for the 24 June 2026 World Cup matchday
A snapshot of MatchPoint 26’s Wednesday picks board for the six 24 June fixtures.
Five of the six MD3 matches today carry an “already through” team facing a “must-win” team — pricing reflects that asymmetry, and our Canadian read is that two of the underdog lines carry real value.

How we built the board

Every figure in this article is decimal — the default at Canadian-licensed sportsbooks. Odds are timestamped to either 22 or 23 June 2026 and reflect FanDuel, Covers, Yahoo Sports and CBS Sports lines as published; verify the current price at your Canadian-licensed sportsbook before placing.

3:00 PM ET — Switzerland vs Canada (Group B, BC Place, Vancouver)

Market Selection Odds (decimal)
Match (1X2) Switzerland 2.30
Match (1X2) Draw 3.10
Match (1X2) Canada 3.30
Group winner Switzerland ≈1.71

Read: A draw guarantees Canada top spot on goal difference (+6 vs +3). Marsch told Flashscore on 23 June that “the worst way to get the draw is to play for a draw” — read that as Canada coming to score. The Canada moneyline at 3.30 looks fair value if you buy the home-bowl tilt at BC Place; a C$50 ticket returns C$165. Full preview at world-cup-match-preview-canada-switzerland.

Our pick: Canada to win or draw (Double Chance), with the moneyline at 3.30 as the high-EV alternative.

3:00 PM ET — Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Qatar (Group B, Lumen Field, Seattle)

Market Selection Odds (decimal)
Match (1X2) Bosnia 1.44
Match (1X2) Draw 5.05
Match (1X2) Qatar 7.00

Read: Win-or-go-home for both. Bosnia have Džeko and Demirović up top; Qatar lose two players to suspension (Madibo and Homam Ahmed, both red against Canada — Sports Mole, ESPN, 23 June 2026). Bosnia’s missing piece is Muharemović, also suspended. The 1.44 is short but priced fairly given the depth gap.

Bosnia at 1.44 implies roughly a 69% win probability. Stack carefully — a C$100 ticket at 1.44 returns just C$144. Use this as a small parlay leg rather than an outright big-stake pick.

6:00 PM ET — Scotland vs Brazil (Group C, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens)

Market Selection Odds (decimal)
Match (1X2) Scotland 7.50
Match (1X2) Draw 5.00
Match (1X2) Brazil 1.47

Read: Brazil are without Raphinha (hamstring; ESPN, Sports Mole). The Analyst’s Opta supercomputer model puts Brazil at 68.1% to win and Scotland at 12.9% — close to the 1.47 implied figure. The Scotland angle is that the Tartan Army have never advanced past a World Cup group stage, and former manager Craig Levein told Sky Sports on 24 June that “this is not one of the great Brazil sides … they are not invincible” and even argued “if we lose 1-0 I think we will qualify”. Full Brazil–Scotland preview at world-cup-match-preview-brazil-scotland.

Our pick: Scotland +1 on the Asian handicap (where offered) if you want the value-edge angle on a sub-1.50 favourite missing a star forward.

6:00 PM ET — Morocco vs Haiti (Group C, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta)

Market Selection Odds (decimal)
Match (1X2) Morocco 1.22
Match (1X2) Draw 7.00
Match (1X2) Haiti 15.00

Read: Haiti are eliminated and still chasing a first-ever World Cup point (Rotowire / The Analyst). Morocco are unbeaten in their last seven and a win secures qualification. The 1.22 line is too short for an outright pick; a Morocco -1.5 handicap is the textbook angle. Saibari has scored in both Moroccan group games.

9:00 PM ET — Czechia vs Mexico (Group A, Estadio Azteca, Mexico City)

Market Selection Odds (decimal)
Match (1X2) Czechia 3.70
Match (1X2) Draw 3.90
Match (1X2) Mexico 1.91

Read: Mexico have already won Group A (6 points) and may rotate. The match is framed by Mexican media as Guillermo Ochoa’s World Cup farewell at the Azteca — the 40-year-old set to start in a record-extending sixth World Cup squad, surpassing Antonio Carbajal’s five (Concacaf.com; Yahoo Sports). Czechia must win to advance and reportedly miss David Jurásek (thigh) for the rest of the tournament (single source, Goal.com / Sports Mole).

Information gain: the Estadio Azteca is the only stadium in World Cup history that has hosted three different tournaments (1970, 1986 and now 2026). The Ochoa farewell is the closing chapter on a 16-year national-team career — a story worth more than the price tag of the market.
Our pick: Both teams to score “yes” — Czechia have to push for a win, Mexico still have a starting line-up’s worth of attacking depth even rotated.

9:00 PM ET — South Africa vs Korea Republic (Group A, Estadio BBVA, Monterrey)

Market Selection Odds (decimal)
Match (1X2) South Africa 5.90
Match (1X2) Draw 3.90
Match (1X2) Korea Republic 1.61

Read: Korea need only a draw; South Africa must win. Mokoena is suspended (2nd yellow vs Czechia) and Zwane is also suspended (red, vs Mexico). The Korea camp is dealing with the well-documented media-boycott storyline over the mocking of captain Son Heung-min — likely Son’s last World Cup. The 1.61 implies just over 60% on a Korea side with strong recent form, with a 3.90 draw price that has more value than the South Africa win line.

Our pick: Draw at 3.90 — Korea play for the point that guarantees second place; South Africa pile on with a man down in suspensions.

Card summary — Canadian-format ticket

Match Pick Decimal odds
Switzerland vs Canada Canada moneyline 3.30
Bosnia vs Qatar Bosnia 1.44
Scotland vs Brazil Brazil 1.47
Morocco vs Haiti Morocco (or Morocco -1.5 handicap, where offered) 1.22 (moneyline)
Czechia vs Mexico Both teams to score “yes” (line varies by book) check your operator
South Africa vs Korea Draw 3.90
Example parlay: Bosnia 1.44 × Brazil 1.47 × Korea draw 3.90 = decimal 8.26 (1.44 × 1.47 × 3.90). A C$25 stake returns roughly C$207 if all three legs win. Parlay risk multiplies fast — the more legs, the lower the implied probability.

What is the safest single Matchday 3 pick from the day?
Mathematically, the shortest decimal price — Morocco at 1.22 — is the highest implied probability on the board, but the upside is small. For value rather than safety, the South Africa vs Korea draw at 3.90 carries the strongest expected-value case in our read.
